Randy E. Albertsen

Randy E. Albertsen is a life long resident of the Manteca area. He graduated from Manteca High School in 1942. Randy and his wife Mary have been married for 64 years and have been active in the community. Randy is a 32nd degree member of the Manteca Masonic Lodge, and Mary is a charter member of Soroptimist International of Manteca.
Randy made his living as a farmer, but he gained national recognition as a member of the Amateur Trap Shooting Association. He started as a pistol shooter, but quickly changed to trap shooting.
Randy won 14 Grand American Association trophies from 1994 to 1997. In the succeeding year, Randy claimed top senior Veteran honors at Dayton, Ohio Homecoming and Doubles and All Around Crown. In the Western Zone competition he won three veteran and four senior veteran titles. In western state competition, Randy won numerous awards including championships at the Golden West Grand Competition, the Veroda State Shoot and the California Indian Competition.
Randy has been recognized for his efforts in trap shooting by being named to nine All-American teams. During his career in the American Trap Shooting Association he has registered more than 38,000 singles, 46,000 handicap and 22,000 doubles competitions.
Through his trap shooting, Randy has brought recognition to the community of Manteca. Being an All American is a great honor and deserves recognition by being inducted into the Manteca Hall of Fame.
